Can we return the car after hours?
Yes, but only if you organise it with us when you book.
Is it possible to extend my rental?
Extending your rental will depend on availability. You will need to contact us to request an extension and updated price.
Am I allowed to have extra drivers?
Yes, at no additional charge, providing we have their licence details at the time of booking
What are your age requirements?
Cross Country Rentals hires vehicles to drivers aged 18 years and older, providing they have a full and valid driver’s licence. For drivers under the age of 21, insurance options vary slightly.
What are your licence requirements?
Every driver must hold a full and valid driver’s licence. Special licences for 15-seater mini buses and furniture trucks may apply, to be organised by the driver before their rental or lease commences. Contact us for more information.
What happens if I break down, have an accident or experience problems?
We offer 24-hour-a-day seven-days-a-week operational support, so if you have a breakdown, accident or any other problems, please contact us immediately. Any mechanical or towing expenses must be authorised by Cross Country Rentals before repairs take place.
Do I need to pay a bond?
Yes, a credit card or cash bond is required to hire a vehicle from Cross Country Rentals.
